By registering on Ryot Mitra you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
1. About the Platform
Ryot Mitra is an agricultural drone booking platform that connects farmers and Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) with verified drone pilots for crop spraying, fertilizer application, and field mapping services in India.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to register
- Drone Pilots must hold a valid DGCA-approved drone operator certificate
- You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration
3. User Roles & Responsibilities
Farmers / FPOs
- Provide accurate farm location, crop type, and land size
- Ensure safe access to the field on the booked date
- Make payment as agreed with the drone pilot
Drone Pilots
- Maintain valid DGCA drone operator license at all times
- Accept or reject bookings in a timely manner
- Operate drones safely and within legal limits
- Carry appropriate chemicals and equipment as per booking requirements
4. Booking & Cancellation
- Bookings are confirmed only after the assigned drone pilot accepts the job
- Farmers may cancel a booking before the pilot accepts it
- Cancellations after pilot acceptance are subject to the pilot's cancellation terms
- Ryot Mitra is not responsible for service quality disputes between farmers and pilots
5. Platform Rules
- Do not share your account credentials with others
- Do not use the platform for any illegal agricultural activity
- Do not submit false documents during pilot verification
- Abuse of the platform (fake bookings, spam, fraud) will result in immediate account termination
6. Limitation of Liability
Ryot Mitra acts as an intermediary platform. We are not liable for:
- Damage to crops caused by drone operations
- Disputes between farmers and pilots regarding payment
- Delays caused by weather or drone technical failures
- Loss of data due to force majeure events
7. Intellectual Property
All platform content, design, code, and branding of Ryot Mitra are proprietary. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
